Outwardly, TOONSCHOOL resembles a cartooning workshop and can understandably be confused with being a “show.” However, the use of cartoons in presenting the workshops is vital to achieving successful outcomes. TOONSCHOOL assists students in recognizing the indicators of having a Fixed Mindset, then using a Growth Mindset to counteract this process through simple language and practical methods.
3. Correcting Thought Imbalances: TOONSCHOOL is a simple yet powerful tool in correcting the imbalance of negative thoughts/actions and positive thoughts/actions.
4. Creating Meaningful Work: Students will create meaningful work (through drawing), identify personal skills (using text), and verbalize the values of persistence and resilience.
5. Observation by Educators: From a teacher’s perspective, educators will be able to observe students in a different environment and see how they react to it.
